What are your major and minor retail accounts saying about Christmas/holiday advertising spending plans this year vs. 2007? And where did back-to-school ad sales land compared to budget? (Why I'm asking now.)

Hello? Hello? Are you all out on sales calls?

Almost all my customers are cutting back, and only plan to do "at most" half of what they spent last year, and there are no other sources to make up the revenue.
The rest don't see a need to increase spending and plan to just hold steady.
Just curious, how many sales/cold/service/ calls are each of the reps expected to make in a day? And for what size communities?
