Part of an occasional weekend series about Ibiza.
Dancers who perform at Matinee Group's Querelle-themed party tonight at nightclub Space visited Ses Salines beach this afternoon, handing out discount admission bracelets. Space and other megaclubs like Pacha are a major cog in Ibiza's flagging economy this summer.

Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

Sweet!
ReplyDeleteI'd take me some of dat....
ReplyDeletePretty boys! Here's a question: If a person is on Ibiza for an extended period, is a person in the midst of party-party action all the time, or are there quiet backwaters where a person can immerse oneself in the natural beauty without day-and-night rocking and rolling?
ReplyDeleteI'm taking it for granted that the r+r action is available whenever one might wish to indulge no matter where you are on the island. Tell me if I'm wrong.
1:55 am: Ibiza's party scene gets all the press. But there's plenty of other things to do on the island, most of which don't involve sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll.
ReplyDeleteIbiza's interior is full of green pine forests, and the coast has many isolated beaches, where you can get away from it all. Sparky and I aren't much into club-going, but we've had e a wonderful time here, too.
Thought this was a Gannett blog? Can we stay on topic please? I realize this is your creation and you do provide some interesting tidbits, but not sure if it's appropriate for this blog? Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteOh, relax, 10:41. There's plenty of Gannettisms to read here. Nothing wrong with a few moments of simple human conversation that's NOT all about the biz.
