    Broom, Chandler and Bonner, all from the CL, took me right to the storm scene with their blogs. What a nice blend of observation and facts.

    Now, about Gustav stories overall, I'm glad to read and hear all the reports about how smoothly the evacuations went. But I have a single big question that, so far, hasn't been answered---even though sources, it seems, have had three years to find the answer. Here's the question: How much tax money (federal, state and local) did it take these past three years to prepare for a potential disaster like Gustav?
