And I suppose you'll be wanting paid overtime, too?

"Hopefully, they'll merge our paper
with a cafeteria."

  1. Don't worry everyone! There's hope ahead! Didn't you hear? Gannett's gonna stream Brian Wilson's new album on all its Web sites! (well, a lot of them) This is sure to save the company!

  3. Hm. Maybe in Montgomery they'll merge us with a Pizza Hut. Of course, they don't really pay enough in mileage for that.

  4. Hey copy editors. What would you do if you saw all these words in a single sentence?
    -innovative
    -first of its kind
    -never before partnered
    -premiere

  5. Go smack around the fresh-out-of-college reporter who wrote it?

That's not a fresh out of college reporter. That's a just finished a glass kool aid manager!

  9. Merging with a cafeteria brings me to a thought. Let me ask a question...When have you ever seen an outlet mall without a Cracker Barrell? New outlet mall opening next to the APP...draw your own conclusion, but don't be surprised if there's a new gift shop/restaurant where the APP once stood. Maybe someone should check Cracker Barrell's opening soon list on their website.
