A day trip around Ibiza, led by our friend Robert
Part of an occasional series about Ibiza and surrounding regions.
Our neighbor showed us several beaches along Ibiza's southwest side that Sparky and I had never seen -- including Sa Caleta (above), where the water looked as clear as the Caribbean. We then ate lunch at the very Southern California-hip Blue Marlin, at Cala Jondal. The food there (inset) was excellent, including this Cesar salad with grilled chicken.

Thanks for sharing your amazing experiences with us, Jim. I'm curious about healthcare there. Any comments or observations?
ReplyDeleteyou should try and get up into the north of the island: san carlos, santa gertrudis, san juan etc all are lovely little villages :)
ReplyDeletethere's also some great beaches on the east coast: cala boix, agua blanca, cala mastella, es figuerel
If I had views like that and such delicious-looking food on my table, I'd have said screw the blogging long ago.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for having the discipline to keep posting! Enjoy yourself.
Thanks, Ade! Always nice to see you on my blog.
ReplyDeleteWhew! Ain't that a sight for sore eyes! Must be nice to enjoy such a wonderful vacation. There IS life after Gannett!!!
