One of the Cincinnati Enquirer's editors reportedly interviewed for the top newsroom job at The News-Press, vacated by the recently promoted Kate Marymont, blogger Newsache says. The blog's author doesn't say which editor, referring to him only as a "bully."
Yet, one of my readers says the candidate is the Enquirer's No. 2, Hollis Towns, who once confessed to being an "ass,'' "insensitive," "unsympathetic," "insufferable," and "demanding." (Hmmm: Maybe the Fort Myers candidate is actually Mark Silverman!)

ReplyDeleteAre you sure it isn't ace metro editor Joe Kelley (who hails from Ft. Meyers)? Kelley is an excellent editor with serious hard news credentials -- competent and well regarded.
