Screw polar bears! Journalists are endangered ones

Updated at 4:59 p.m. PT: The Arizona Republic's John D'Anna today classifies them Journalisticus Newspaperus Americanus, in his waggish appeal to U.S. Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne, on the paper's environment blog, AzGreenDay.
