What I'm doing right now
8:05 p.m., San Francisco time: Posting my photo of the copper-clad Columbus Tower, with the better-known Transamerica Pyramid in the background. The flatiron-style building was completed in 1907, a year after the city's great earthquake. Filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola bought and restored the building in the early 1970s; he keeps offices there today.

ReplyDeleteJim, you want to move to Palm Springs, why?
ReplyDeleteI occasionally visit Palm Springs; it's a popular wintertime destination for Northern Californians.
