  1. Every day we see the sales force acting anything but forceful… more and more hours in the office or spent at home, running personal errands, doing personal business.

My question: Would more effective /motivated sales staff actually make much of a difference?

Are low sales the product of an unmotivated staff and horrid leadership (CN/HNT for example) or an impossible mission -- selling newspaper ads in a recession/digital age?

    the sales staff at
courier post do the same thing.
    poor management, low morale
    and inflated ad rates
during a recession are to blame.
