Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

ReplyDeleteSure 11:52. They're posting your photo all over as a wanted poster.
ReplyDeleteJim, isn't it time to treat the "building news" posts in the same manner you treat the "first" posts? I mean, they're equally annoying.
ReplyDeleteIt's only annoying because you're too dumb to see the importance of the news.
ReplyDelete2:41: duh de duh duh duh.
ReplyDeleteStunning wit alive and well in Jersey, I see. I'm going back to the Interstate group. Thanks for the coffee.
ReplyDeleteWhat in the name of Jeebus is "building news" anyway? News about a building? News about construction? News about Lincoln Logs and Legos??? No journalist I know has ever used the term. Well, maybe Sillypants, but I DID say journalist.
ReplyDeleteBuilding news hell were up to $4.05
ReplyDeleteStop pussing building news you could put us all out on the street
ReplyDeletepushing
ReplyDeleteGUS ROCKS!!!
ReplyDeleteYay, Gus!
No wonder Hopkins wants NJ to stay on its own feed. Is this even a conversation? Is this real news? Is there a reason to bring this up every single day only to receive the same (lack of) answers? How about some news on what else is going on with the merger? Who got screwed by loyalty, high-paying salaries, etc.? No wonder why the papers are crap... those who work for them can't decipher priorities.
ReplyDeletewho is gus?
ReplyDelete1:48 am: Agreed.
ReplyDeleteAll: Please stop posting daily requests for "building news." It's a given there's interest in new developments on this subject, which includes possible chemical waste spills and other OSHA violations in Gannett-owned buildings.
When something new occurs, I'm sure it'll be posted here. Those daily requests are just plain tedious.
Please dont dare buy Gannett stock its going to free fall in the next 2-3 days .Some fund run by "Ariel"Pumped up the stock and is trying to get you to invest so they can sell quickly to get the $100 millon dollars they lost back at suckers expence that think its on the way back up .Dont take this giant risk "N.J.R."

ReplyDeleteThe old "Pump and Dump", eh.
ReplyDeleteAnyone hear of any layoffs at HNT today?
ReplyDeleteCherry Hill Pals: We await word of your news antics today. Everyone at the CN and HNT look to you for maturity and guidance! We have several prime candidates for the defecating on the restroom floors detail. Just give these two women a little incentive.
ReplyDeleteToday's treat for us is the notorious column by JJC. When people go to the small stores to actually buy our newspapers, they most likely buy lottery tickets. Sooooooooo.... what better subject to degrade and trash than lottery tickets!!!
^hahahaha^
ReplyDeleteCourier Slave checking in.
our friends call us
The Courier Poop!
has any other NJ location ever
received anti-american art work
in ads that came from india?
The Courier Poop did! it was caught
before it ran in the paper tho.

and ad. the graphic involved
george bush and basically
blamed him for 911.
ive also seen an ad that had pot
leaves used it. that one ran and
we still get a good laugh
over it.
these are the people who are
slowly taking jobs from americans.
our fore fathers are rolling in
their graves.

ReplyDelete2:53 - The word Slave is offensive to african americans.
ReplyDelete2:53 - "The word Slave is
ReplyDeleteoffensive to african americans".
its not being directed toward
african americans so how is
it offensive?
the irish were used as slaves
and im not offended, im 100% irish.
the egyptians used slaves to
build the pyramids. are there any
of our egyptian co workers out
there offended?
the definition of slave is:
slave (slāv) noun
1. a human being who is owned as property by, and is absolutely subject to the will of, another; bondservant divested of all freedom and personal rights
2. a person who is completely dominated by some influence, habit, person, etc.

ReplyDelete3:39 - '1. a human being who is owned as property by, and is absolutely subject to the will of, another; bondservant divested of all freedom and personal rights'
ReplyDeleteThe problem with Slave as suggested by the idiots at the CP is that they do not have a choice, which they do, unlike the other slaves you have documented. They have a freedom to continue to work at the CP or not....

ReplyDeleteCourier Poop SLAVE checking in,

this time we dont have a choice.
yes, i am happy i still have a
job but i am entitled to give
my opinion. just remember, opinions
are like @$$holes. every one has
one and everybody thinks
every one elses stinks.
so keep on truckin, and try
not to get bent out of shape by
others opinions.
Actual, present-day slavery is far more offensive, 3:15 pm. Have you bought any Chinese factory-made goods recently?

I wanted to say good bye to the professional, honest and hard working single copy manager at HNT/CN.
ReplyDeleteSkippy shame on you.

ReplyDelete7:27, I second that.
ReplyDeleteSo... what happened and who did it happen to at the HNT today? Please let us/me know. I've worked there on&off for the years, I'm out of the loop these days.
ReplyDeleteI was on furlough and came back to the greatest news. Bendheim is moving on to Asbury. I felt bad for the Courier crew when they arrived but it gave her some new ears to make bleed with all the whining and bitching – one bad apple and all. Yippeee! Feel free to share in the joy. And of course we wish her the best.
ReplyDeletesad, really sad how they could lay off the SC Mgr. I can think of a few others who contribute much, much less!
