Check out this item in today's Page Six, the New York Post's widely read gossip column.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

ReplyDeleteThis is so funny.
ReplyDeleteI remember, that there were mid-management rumors about a Neuharth love child, but I had fogotten completely about it until now.
The comment about the damage done during the launch of USAT is true, true, true. Anyone who survived probably deserved a lifetime position at the Freedom Forum.
Do you think the love child is Gracia Martore? Penny pinching, bean counting, overpaid executive. Sounds like the right dna!
ReplyDeleteI truly believed no trauma would ever scorch my brain more deeply than having seen the words "Eliot Spitzer," "hooker," "$5,000" and "unsafe sex" not just in the same article, but in the same sentence.
ReplyDeleteRepeatedly.
For weeks.
Who knew all it would take was seeing "Neuharth love child" ?
OK, bad idea to talk about this....it's starting again...the intrusive images...oh God, where are my meds?
HA! HA! it sounds his maid did more than clean his treehouse.
