Elsewhere: Online ad revenue up 28% last year

It jumped to $18 billion from $14 billion in 2006, former high-flying Internet analyst Henry Blodget says on his Silicon Alley Insider blog. How much did Gannett's grow at its U.S. newspapers? We don't know, because the company omitted that key information from the new 2007 Annual Report. (Gosh: Was it really that bad?)
