A programming note on publishing comments
I'm now in Rio de Janeiro, where it's nearly midnight -- and where I should be outside, carousing with my partner, Sparky. Gannett Blog's traffic, meanwhile, is running unusually strong, so I might not be able to publish your terrific comments as quickly as I'd like to. Please be patient; I'll catch up in the morning.
