That's from a fresh reader comment on this post about Publisher Walt Lafferty's response to allegations of overtime abuse at the Courier-Post in Cherry Hill, N.J.
I agree -- and I'm very glad to see someone mention other departments. I tend to write mostly for newsrooms at the 85 dailies, because that's where I worked during my 20 years at Gannett. But I hope all employees -- and there are nearly 50,000 of you -- understand that this blog is here for you, too. (Want to experience real hell? Trying working in circulation!)

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."
