  1. In the spirit of a typical comment on a Gannett newspaper web story:

Damn Jim, those look like good muffins! I want a bite!

  2. Continuing on 1:49's idea....

    • What would you expect from a liberal in California but BLUE berries?

    • Was he drinking? This wouldn't happen if people wouldn't drink.

    • LOL OMG, ROTFLMAO. OWEL ODS, AOSAD SLLSO! hahahaha!

    • Back in 2007, I PUT A BUY order on BLUEBERRY STOCK at $85 a share and my 401k is up 22% THIS YEAR ALONE. Unfortunately my caps loCK KEY NOw goes off at RANDOM INTErvaLS.

    • My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the muffins without blueberries. Turn to Jesus, he will help.

Last, there would have to be a comment from some guy who would start out, "I'm not bigoted, but..." and would end up "if those gay blue ball muffins taste better than my wife's, I'll try anything once."

Ok, that's enough for you hosers, back to my gig at the Moms site...

  5. I agree with 7:34. What does what Jim is doing "right now" have to do with the Gannett Blog? I don't get it. Is this supposed to be humor for the masses?

    News, dammit!!

  7. I post these items occasionally to remind people that a real person with a real life edits this blog. That helps with subscription sales.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."
