Virginia, Arizona lead my top states list

Here are the top 10 sending traffic to Gannett Blog. The numbers are from Google Analytics, a free web-based program that helps me learn more about how readers use this blog.

Surprised to see Arizona at No. 2? I was. But then I read this company page and saw the Arizona Republic alone employs 2,650 people. And KPNX-TV has another 203.

I'd be guessing on how many work at McLean in No. 1 Virginia. We know there are about 600 at the Corporate offices. And I guess USA Today has 1,500 or so. But there must be many more divisions scattered around the region that I'm not accounting for.

    Something you might consider is that a portion of Gannett's internet traffic is funneled through either one of these places, you know, so each paper doesn't have to have resources dedicated to firewalls, IT staff, etc.

    Love the blog. CINCINNATI REPRESENT - hahahaha.
