  2. I'm curious how the college newspaper acquisition in Tallahassee turned out. Anyone out there have any information on that? Rumor is, it's for sale.

  5. Just wondering if the "good enough is good enough" mystery is now considered solved and if it's true what at least one poster said---that it wasn't supposed to apply to news content?

  7. "good enough is good enough" ranks up there with SCJ's proclaiming in 1995 "the information super highway is a dirt road".

  11. Hey pressman---
Was your job eliminated and did you get the axe?
Are you an employee or independent contractor now?
One more question if I may. Are you doing exactly what you did before, or is the job different now?
Thanks. Glad to you you're working so much!!!

  12. a lot of shifts were eliminated i just have enough seniority to still get 5 steady shifts a week. all pressmen in az are employees not independent contractors. i'm still doing the same tasks at work just less guys doing those tasks. yes i'm also thankful to be getting 5 shifts tho like most of my smart coworkers am looking for new non-newspaper employment.

    thanks for your thoughts
