Earnings preview: Expecting $1.23 a share
The bottom line, says this AP story about Wednesday's expected quarterly earnings report: "Last month Gannett executives said at an industry conference that the company anticipated meeting Wall Street's expectations for second-quarter earnings of $1.23 per share. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial have since lowered their estimate to $1.21 per share."
