How about a live feed of construction work on the on-air set for Gannett's flagship TV station? It's being webcast by Mogulus, the video service GCI invested in back in July. Passing along the link, Anonymous@6:05 p.m. says in a comment:
"The newsroom has been torn apart for new furniture and configuration as it transforms into the 'Information Center.' Some question spending money on new furniture, even though it's needed, when you are downsizing staff."
It's a good thing the TV monitors are tuned to the other stations in town, since I guess that is where they will be getting their leads for "content". It doesn't look like there are many left in this Gannett newsroom. WUSA used to be the most popular news station in D.C. before Gannett bought it. Now it's in the ratings cellar.
ReplyDeletezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!! What a waste of time! Do they really thing people are going to watch this crap. Information Center is the death of Gannett broadcasting. With all of the layoffs we can't even do old school TV correct.
ReplyDeleteMoney spent, but it still looks ugly and rats are taking over the newsroom.
