I thought people here generally supported traditional media orgs? Going around the paywalls in an Incognito fashion is part of the problem in the continuing revenue declines. The J-S is a pretty strong product in these times. Support them!
When the "media org" throw a worker of 30+ years under the bus yes, I'm incognito - and the IT person at my local "Media Org" in Louisiana showed me how to "avoid" the paywall - it's all bs............
The irony with circumventing the paywall by simply availing one's self to the Incognito mode of one's browser is of course that there's not much point to it since a Gannett site is pretty lame in both the content and organizational area in the first place. I wish they would have left any given site's web design up to that individual product. At least then there would have some possibility of skill and talent. Instead corporate opted for one-size-fits-all, and unfortunately that "size" ended up being consistently barely passable throughout. I guess they never thought of that.
Curious to know why comments about KA and BH in Nashville were removed. It wasn't vicious (and it was the truth as anyone IN Nashville would attest to minus KA, BH and LH. I notice others use initials. Is it because real names were given? I ask as this is info people need to know. And higher ups in Nashville aren't listening to the people who have been talking about these two. We're losing hope for real change and were hoping BD might see this and pay attention.
Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

Wonder how long before the Gannett dailies start doing the same?
DeleteJust use the "Incognito window" on Chrome... read all you want :)
DeleteMost Gannett dailies already have 10 article limits, no?

DeleteYou sound sad, bud. Very sad. Why not just type up an anonymous note and direct it to this BD person?
