Martore could discuss Butterfly at Thurs. confab

In a press release today, Corporate said it would provide a live webcast of a question-and-answer session with CEO Gracia Martore at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference on Thursday morning.

Such conferences with Wall Street analysts occur several times a year. The Goldman Sachs one comes a week after several Gannett papers announced details of the much-anticipated Butterfly Project. To the extent that analysts have read about it, I imagine they will have questions.

The webcast is scheduled for 8:50 a.m. ET. To listen, go to Corporate's website at ww.gannett.com and click on the link to the webcast. The webcast will be available there through Oct. 25 and will be archived in the Investor Relations section.

Thursday's conference is a run-up to the as-yet-unscheduled release of the third-quarter earnings report. That should be in mid-October.

Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."
