Louisville | Today is the 136th Run for the Roses!

The Courier-Journal
in Louisville braces itself for coverage of today's race, the first leg in the Triple Crown series, and one of the most-watched sporting events. NBC's live coverage kicks into higher gear at 5 p.m. ET, on a rainy day that's promising a very wet track. The Derby's horses are set to run at 6:28 p.m., the C-J says.
