Not to mention teachers, fireman, police officers, laid-off journalists, etc.

Wall Street rules the day. No other values come into play in determining how much someone gets paid.
I hold Board of Directors accountable to his payout.

ReplyDeleteShouldn't there be some type of shareholder revolt about this payout? So $22 million wouldn't have been enough? And please, no responses about envy over someone making this kind of money. Anyone who says that is choosing to gloss over what's happening in this country and around the world. The few taking everything at the expense of the many. Greed is never good. That's why all around the country your average everyday citizen is starting to warm-up to the OccupyWallStreet movement. There is no reason for this excess. How many employees will lose their jobs next year to cover this $37 million payment to Dubow?
